Actor Ram Kapoor delivered one of the most emotional moments of Lock Upp 2 when he broke down and confessed, “I helped my father plan his death.”

The Bade Achhe Lagte Hain star revealed that his father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at 63. After 18 chemotherapy sessions the disease nearly disappeared, allowing him to live until 73. When the cancer returned during the COVID period while he was in Singapore, his father called Ram and asked for help facing the end without fear or prolonged suffering.

Ram stayed by his side in the ICU, honouring the request that no one else should know treatment had stopped. He held his father’s hand until the end. The decision, however, created a deep family rift—his mother and sister have not spoken to him for over five years.

The heartfelt confession left contestants and viewers in tears, turning the reality show episode into a powerful moment of vulnerability and strength.
