coronavirus outbreak has fully caught India's attention with governments both at Centre and state level taking steps to contain the viral infection as well as people taking all precautions to safeguard themselves and those around them. As of March 16, the number of coronavirus cases in India has reached 114.

Of these seven cases were confirmed positive in Delhi. For the national capital region, the severity of the Covid-19 pandemic hit home when a Mayur Vihar resident, who had come back from Vienna, became the first coronavirus affected patient in the area on March 2. 14 days later, there is some good news, the man who was under treatment has successfully recovered.

IThe patient (name withheld) revealed that he had travelled to Europe -- which has now become a hotbed for the coronavirus pandemic. He had travelled to Italy as he has a leather export business there. Upon his return, he saw symptoms of coronavirus. "I went to Italy and Hungary on February 21 and returned to India on February 25. On the night of 25th, I got a fever of 99.5. The next day I went to the doctor and took medicines for three days," he said.

However, when his fever did not subside, the man was referred to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital by his doctor. "On February 29, I went to RML where I was admitted and tested for coronavirus. On March 1, it was confirmed that I have been infected by the novel coronavirus," he added
