There has been a major terrorist attack on Karachi-based Pakistan Stock Exchange today i.e. on 29 June. According to local media, at least 4 terrorists have been killed in this terror attack and more than three civilians have also died on the spot. Many people including many security personnel have also been injured in this terrorist attack. Police and Pakistani Rangers personnel have also reached the spot.
In the aftermath of the attack, the area around the Pakistan Stock Exchange has been completely evacuated. After which the injured have been admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment. With this, the employees trapped in the stock exchange have been evacuated through the back door.
How did the terrorist attack
The terrorists attacked the main gate of the stock exchange building with a grenade and barged into his building, firing indiscriminately. A police officer and a security guard were reported injured during the firing. Police and Rangers personnel have reached the spot.
Police is not deployed
According to the information, the Pakistan Police is not deployed on the Karachi Stock Exchange. The entire responsibility of the security there is with the private company. According to the information, a police sub-inspector is also among those killed.
