Punjabi singer and actress Sara Gurpal whose simplicity in the Bigg Boss 14 house won our hearts, was left shocked when her eviction was announced from the show, right in the first week. Well, usually evictions don’t happen in the show for the first few weeks, but looks like this was another twist from the makers who have been stating that with Bigg Boss 14: ‘Ab Scene Paltega’. 

Well, Sara’s eviction left the viewers shocked and many on social media even demanded to bring her back. When we asked TV critic, Mr. Salil Sand, if Sara’s eviction in the first week was justified, he opined, “Sara's eviction wasn't justified at all. Eviction has to happen, but in the history of Bigg Boss, we have never seen anyone being eliminated for the first two weeks. But since this time the makers have stated that the show is going to be different, eviction in the first week was a possibility. According to me, the eviction was unfair because there were the 'so-called' seniors in the house. So none of the new contestants had the opportunity to show what they are. Till the time the seniors are there any eviction that happens is unfair.”

Even after her eviction there was no clarity over Sara’s media interactions and revealing the reason behind this a source informs us. “After Sara’s exit, so early from the show, there were chances of her returning back on popular demand. The team was meeting with Sara for the same, however, due to her ill-health, she was reluctant to go back. Also, Sara suffered an eye injury due to being hurt by Nikki Tamboli’s acrylic nails in a task, as a result of which there were bruises on her face and also around her eyes and in such a situation Sara wasn’t okay with facing the camera, since her eyes have turned red and their treatment is on.”

The source also shared that the actress and singer wasn’t very happy with the senior’s decision. In fact, she felt that it was her decision to not dance with Sidharth during a task, that made the Bigg Boss 13 winner speak against her. However, Sara understood that it's a game and sportingly decided to not return to the Bigg Boss 14 house as of now. The source further adds, “more than the eviction what upset Sara were her marriage reports that did rounds, which is why she decided to not interact with a lot of media people, but just a few. As she didn’t want to drag her personal life in public.”

Well, in the few media interactions, Sara did clarify her marriage reports, she accepted them and said that her marriage was an abusive one which is why she decided to end it. Now that Sara is out of the show, we wish her good luck. 

Further sharing his views about Bigg Bos 14, Mr. Salil Sand says, “In the history of Bigg Boss for the first few weeks every contestant is lost. They don't understand the game. In Gauahar's season, things got interesting after six weeks when Priya Malik entered the house. The heaven and hell concept was really not working, last year too when Asim and Sidharth got anti against each other then the game turned. Even in Hina's season nothing was happening for 4-5 weeks. So initially everyone is trying to figure out the game, they are trying to grapple. So you cannot judge them. Every time the initial concept doesn't work, this concept is also not working, but it will be there for the next 2-3 weeks, only then the game will open.”

When we asked him who he feels is a strong contestant in the house, Mr. Salil said, “It's too early to talk, but going by the little journey, Pavitra Punia will be one huge bet. That girl has an opinion, she is very strong. Jasmin also might be around for a while because she is a favorite. I don't think Abhinav will survive in the house for long, Rubina we can't say. Even Eijaz is strong. Nikki is very overrated. She is come to prepared. From day one she is behaving like the female version of Sidharth Shukla.”

While it is sad to see Sara’s journey in Bigg Boss 14 ended even before it could start, she is huge in Punjab. Sara Gurpal is a popular name in the industry, she has been a model, actress, and singer. She has worked with some famous Punjabi singers and made her musical debut with the song ‘slow motion’ which was highly appreciated. Not just that, the audiences love Sara as a person. Her real name is Rachana Devi and she is a half Punjabi and half Haryanavi. 

As per latest update Sara has left for her hometown Chandigarh, this morning.
