Sleep is an important part of our daily routine. It is as important as our lunch, dinner and exercise to stay healthy and fit.
In order to determine your sleep hours, the best way is to monitor closely how you feel, when you wake up in the morning. If you feel energetic after sleeping 8 hours, it means 8 hours is sufficient but if you are not feeling good, it means you need more hours to sleep. Newborn infants require 16-18 hours of sleep whereas adults of age 18-60 may only needs 6-7 hours of sleep, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Although, there is no specific way to determine proper sleep hours of an individual but in few cases some factors may play important role that changes the sleep hours, which are given below:

As we all are different with different routines and habits, so our sleep hours also varies. Although Sleeping hours cannot be determined but many factors are there which determines how much we need to sleep. So our sleep and wake up time changes automatically according to that. The best indicator to determine your sleep hours is how you feel during the day. If you feel energetic, it means that much hours is sufficient to sleep.
