BREAKING NEWS | The farmers' tractor rally, which was planned to take place on November 29, has been postponed. The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella body of farmers' unions, stated earlier this month that 500 farmers will engage in peaceful tractors marches to Parliament every day during the Winter Session beginning November 29 to commemorate one year of anti-farm law protest.

During a meeting near the Singhu border, the major decision was made. "When we declared that a tractor rally would be held on November 29, none of the three farm laws were repealed. We have decided not to participate in the rally now that the laws have been restored. If the Centre does not agree to the rest of our requests, we will decide on our next line of action at our meeting on December 4th "According to a farmer's leader.

Farmers have also stated that if the Centre does not agree on MSP, they will continue to protest. "Protests will continue if the government does not guarantee the MSP."

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi should order state governments and railways to remove the cases filed against farmers during the protest," a Samyukt Kisan Morcha representative stated.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the three farm laws will be repealed, signaling his government's willingness to bend to the demands of farmers protesting reform efforts in numerous states.

SKM applauded the prime minister's decision but stated that they will wait for the announcement to take effect when the proper parliamentary procedures have been followed. It also stated that it will continue to push for a statutory MSP guarantee and the removal of the Electricity Amendment Bill.
