Rizwan Ali, a former second-year student at Jamia Millia Islamia, has recently come under the spotlight for his alleged association with the "Pune ISIS module case." The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had declared a reward of Rs 3 lakh for information leading to his apprehension, along with three other suspects, in this case. Rizwan Ali's journey into suspicion began earlier when he was subjected to a "deradicalization program" by the Delhi Police in 2018 but was subsequently released.

The Deradicalization Program and Previous Police Interaction
In 2018, Rizwan Ali and his younger brother were picked up by intelligence agencies and the special cell. They were accused of involvement in wrongful activities. However, due to insufficient evidence, both were released after participating in the "deradicalization program" conducted by the Delhi Police. This program was part of an effort to address radicalization concerns among certain individuals.
Rizwan Ali's Family and Life
Rizwan Ali hails from a family in central Delhi, comprising four siblings and their father, Abdul Haji, a retired librarian from JMI. The family asserts that they were living harmoniously until the day in 2018 when the police picked up Rizwan and his younger brother. Following the incident, both sons attended the deradicalization program. Afterwards, Rizwan decided to discontinue his studies and ventured into a business selling women's handbags. He later relocated to Pune, got married, and started living there with his wife. Meanwhile, his younger brother established a property dealing business in Shaheen Bagh, Delhi. The family insists that Rizwan was focused on his computer-related business in Pune.
Recent Developments and Allegations
Rizwan Ali had been in touch with his family over the past two years but had not visited their central Delhi home. However, due to his father's health issues, he returned home around six months ago. Recently, he left the house with his wife, and police began inquiring about his activities once again. Abdul Haji, Rizwan's father, claims that his son is innocent and alleges that the police are framing him. They are hopeful that justice will be served, especially considering the lack of substantial evidence against Rizwan Ali in the past.
