Guru Saakshaat ParaBrahma Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha 

Meaning: Guru is the Creator (Brahma), Guru is the Preserver(Vishnu), Gurudeva is Destroyer(Maheshwara)

World Teachers' Day is commended on October 5, however, every nation praises the day on different dates.

History:

Teachers' Day is commended on the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the first Vice President of India and the second president of the country. Dr. Radhakrishnan was a regarded educationist. Once, his student asked him, out of respect on the off chance that he would permit them to celebrate his birthday. Dr. Radhakrishnan denied any extraordinary treatment however recommended “Instead of celebrating my birthday, it would be my proud privilege if 5 September is observed as Teachers' Day.”

Significance:

This is a day to respect and show appreciation to all coaches and teachers. Across India, schools and higher educational institutions have been commending this day by honoring Dr. Radhakrishnan. Numerous students show their appreciation and appreciation to their teachers by giving them cards and gifts.

Contribution of Teachers: 

Teachers play a very important role in a student’s life. They act as "THIRD PARENT" to students. Extraordinary teachers can improve lives. Teachers are the ultimate role models for students. Teachers provide guidance to students of all types. 

Teachers can go about as an emotionally supportive network that is missing somewhere else in students' lives. They can be a good example and a motivation to go further and to dream greater. They consider students responsible for their victories and disappointments and great teachers will not allow their skilled students to pull off not satisfying their maximum capacity.
