Indian Railways Cancels 295 Trains today due to Operational Reasons

Indian Railways has announced to cancel 295 trains, change the origin station of 21 and short terminate 23.

On Friday, February 18, Indian Railways has announced to cancel 295 trains, change the origin station of 21 and short terminate 23. Trains are cancelled which were operational on the routes between New Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh among others.

A list of cancelled trains has been uploaded by the Indian Railways on its website for the passengers’ convenience. Railways have requested passengers to check train details by visiting https://enquiry.indianrail.gov.in/mntes or NTES app before planning their trip. 

Previously, at least 467 trains including local trains and passenger trains were cancelled due to a 72-hour mega block in Maharashtra. During the mega block period, at least 350 suburban locals and 117 mail, express, and passenger trains were cancelled.

Steps to Check the list of Cancelled Trains 

- Visit the official website of Indian Railways at https://enquiry.indianrail.gov.in/mntes/

- Select the date of journey 

- Select Exceptional Trains and click on Cancelled Trains 

- Now select Fully option in Cancelled Type to see list of trains with time, routes and other details. 

- Select Partially option to see list of Source Changed trains. 

- Scroll down to check list of short terminated trains.
