With the decrease in Covid-19 cases around the world, numerous countries have relaxed travel restrictions in order to boost tourism and industry. Because of the decrease in incidents, three major countries—the United States, Singapore, and Australia—have recently published updated Covid guidelines for travellers, including Indian passengers. Previously, countries such as the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada reopened their borders to Indians with conditions.

The following are the most recent travel rules that Indians should be aware of if they are planning a trip to any of the following countries:

The United States of America

From November 8, the United States will allow foreign travellers to enter the country. The Joe Biden administration just announced a new rule requiring most foreign nationals to get updated vaccines and lifting Covid-19 limits.

Foreign air travellers should be required to be completely vaccinated and produce confirmation of vaccination status before to boarding an airline to the United States, according to a recent US government regulation.

Passengers who have not been properly vaccinated must submit a virus test no later than one day before the flight's departure.

If you have recently recovered from Covid-19 and wish to travel to the United States, you must travel with documentation of your recovery that is no more than 90 days old, as well as a letter from a licenced healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you have been cleared to travel.

SINGAPORE

From October 26, travellers with a 14-day trip history to India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka will be able to enter the country. Such travellers, however, will be subjected to the country's Category IV border controls.

This means that only Singapore citizens and visitors who fall under the Death and Critical Illness Emergency Visits Lane are permitted to enter. Other visitors, including those with prior entry authorization, are not permitted to visit Singapore.

Eligible individuals must complete the Covid-19 RT-PCR test at least 48 hours before to travel. They will be subjected to a second test upon arrival in Singapore, as well as a 10-day stay in a quarantine facility.

AUSTRALIA

From November, Australia's borders will be open, allowing citizens and permanent residents to leave the nation. There haven't been any international visitors to Australia yet.

Meanwhile, Qantas, an Australian airline, has announced that flights between Sydney and Delhi would begin on December 6.

The Sydney-Delhi trip is Qantas' first commercial service between Australia and India in nearly a decade, according to the airline.

The Airbus A330 aircraft will fly three times a week between Sydney and Delhi.
