On Wednesday, India has recorded 1,233 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 31 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the data uploaded by the ministry of health. The covid count has reached 4,30,23,215 and the death count stands at 5,21,070, according to the Health Ministry. The Union health ministry data showed active cases declined to 14,704, comprising 0.03 percent of the total infections. The recovery rate currently stands at 98.75 percent, the ministry said, adding that the daily positivity rate was at 0.22 percent.

More than 183.73 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far in the country, according to the Co-WIN dashboard.

Active cases stand at 0.03% while the recovery rate stands at 98.75%, the Daily positivity rate stands at 0.20%, and the weekly positivity rate has reached 0.25%, as per the data. 

With 1,876 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the tally of total recoveries stands at 4,24,87,410, said the ministry. 

Thane reports 10 fresh Covid-19 cases with 0 death

With an addition of 10 fresh Covid-19 cases, the infection count in Maharashtra's Thane district has reached 7,08,764, said an official on Wednesday.

The new cases were reported on Tuesday, he said.

The death toll remained unchanged at 11,880 and there was no report of any fresh fatality, he said, adding that the Covid-19 mortality rate in the district is 1.67 percent.
