There was a very warm, classy welcome by the Ambani ladies to Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan when she recently paid a visit to Mumbai in mid-February of 2026. The royal interaction, which was organized in the Ambani house (Antilia) and the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) was a cultural exchange, art, heritage, and discussion on women empowerment. Queen Rania, who is elegant and contemporary, had an encounter with Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani, Shloka Mehta (wife to Akash Ambani) and Radhika Merchant (wife to Anant Ambani) with the ladies swirling their heads in elegant and upgraded costumes.
Nita Ambani epitomized the Indian dreamy ivory/white saree with exquisite flowery embroidery, pearl entablishers and various diamond ornaments. The traditional drape was elegant and dignified, and it fitted herself quite well as a host of the small society, with a boutique of classical Indian dance, customary handicraft (such as Kashmiri hand-knotted carpets, Jamavar Sozni shawls and Zari-Zardozi embroidery) and discussions about common ancestry.
As one of the hosts of most of the action at NMACC, Isha Ambani chose a sleek and contemporary style: a dramatic coral silk dress in one instance with an impressive pleated front and a flattering figure, and, in another, a shimmering white peplos-and-skirt ensemble. The coral color also gave the neutral colors some warmth and the white outfit made it smooth and modern.
Shloka Mehta introduced subtle drama in a blue outfit made understated- elegant, sophisticated and with a touch of traditional finesse and modern lines.
Radhika Merchant opted to wear a sophisticated structured off-white outfit (some oftentimes refer to it as a satin top and skirt set), with soft luxury and classic appeal.
Queen Rania personally appeared in one major outing, impressing in monochrome cream/ivory one head-to-toe neutrals suit that screamed royal plainness, with a slight sprinkling of jewelry and a Moynat handbag. Other times she held in her hands fresh white pants, smooth blouse or a thrumbling blue beader jacket all exuding confidence and straightforwardness.
The event was aimed at art, culture, leadership of women and pioneering Indian females hence the clothing was a mere representation of intercultural unity- traditional Indian elegance colliding with the international royal elegance. Images and videos of the affair spread quickly on the social media, as fans raved about the fusion of past and high end fashion.
This visit enhanced the India-Jordan relations, and Queen Rania acknowledged the Ambanis with the welcome treatment and cultural performance. To the Ambani women, it was another masterpiece of welcoming royalty to the party with grace and style with ease.
