Apple Computer Company was started on April 1, 1976, that is, April Fools' Day, by three young boys, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne, in a garage in Los Altos, California. No one ever supposed that this little start-up would one day turn out to become a 4 trillion dollar empire that transformed the way the whole world communicates, works, and creates.
Fifty years later, to commemorate its 50th year of existence, Apple held celebrations across the world; at the very Apple BKC Mumbai, a beautiful mural was unveiled by the Indian artist Mira Felicia Malhotra. CEO Tim Cook threw a huge party at Apple Park that featured live music by Paul McCartney.
The path from the Apple I to Macintosh to iPod to iPhones to iPad to AirPods to Apple Vision Pro is an extraordinary one. Even in the late 1990s, Apple was close to bankruptcy, but Steve Jobs came back and reestablished it as the richest company on the planet.
This is because people who are different move the world forward, as Tim Cook mentioned—the world is moved forward by people who think differently. And Apple has shown that during 50 consecutive years.
