Indian startup Emergent has Congress with annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth of half a billion dollars; it has jumped revenue growth 4X in less than a year, a feat that has never been previously seen in the AI industry. It was a company established in Bengaluru by twin brothers Mukund Jha and Madhav Jha which announced the milestone during the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi making the company one of the hottest AI-native platforms of the globe.
Emergent, which was only eight months old, is an innovative vibe-coding platform that has allowed anyone, both non-coders and enterprises, to create production-ready applications, SaaS, and full-stack solutions through natural language prompts and self-directed AI agents. No conventional coding was necessary. It already received over 6 million users in 190+ countries, and more than 7 million applications were made and about 150,000 paying clients. The revenues consist of subscriptions, use-based pricing, deployment fees and hosting, which are all increasing at a rapid rate with high gross margins.
The growth rate (30 days of doubling or more 50M to 100M ARR) is unprecedented at this level of revenue. No other artificial intelligence company (US, Europe, or other) has kept the same pace. It is described as phenomenal even by investors such as Khosla Ventures, SoftBank, Lightspeed, and Google AI Futures Fund (who led the $70M Series B) as faster than any company they had ever encountered. Unduring the summit, Vinod Khoslow himself said that Emergent was executing faster.
The major triggers of this hyper-growth are:
- Small businesses, entrepreneurs and developers have gone viral and are now able to ship apps 10x faster and cheaper.
- Blistering growth in the US and Europe (70% of revenue) anddynamic growth in India.
- Increasing availability by announcing the launch of mobile apps.
- Concentrate on code that is ready to go into production just in time Db - Dragons and codephan phase - This is where the maintenance costs are incurred.
Co-founder and CEO Mukund Jha added: It takes the world less than three years to reach $100M ARR, which can only mean the world is in need of a new approach to software creation. Constructors require quick, dependable and performance feasible rather than sophisticated work. We're just getting started."
Its success has become a massive buzz in the Indian startup community, and is described as the OpenAI moment of India. With the AI hype and adoption hitting the real world worldwide, Emergent has laid a path on how Indian innovations can transform the understanding of software development at the planetary level.
As the momentum continues to grow, Emergent will be one of the SaaS/AI companies that will grow at a rapid pace, all created out of India.
