It is a radical new development that is sparking discussions within the AI and start-up circles; a US-based businessman named Michael Sitarzewski has open-sourced The Agency, a complete virtual company composed of specialized AI agents. As viral reports have pointed out within the past few years, the Agency consists of more than 50 role-specific AI agents in engineering, marketing, design, product management, and testing, as well as growth hacking and so on, and is shared on websites such as GitHub.
These agents are highly specialized, which is not a general prompt, and it enables users to imitate an entire team process. It belongs to the tools, such as Claude Code, or any AI orchestration environment and is fully customizable and is open-source or open-source-forkable.
The venture will be a democratized way of being an entrepreneur: an individual founder might do his or her frontend development, backend code and content generation, user research, and business strategy all AI-enabled. With the development of AI, this might speed up the creation of the one-person billion-dollar company that is visualized by such leaders as Sam Altman. Already, enthusiastic experimenters are already declaring it to be the comprehensive toolkit of ambitious solopreneurs in 2026.
