Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Rajasthan Royals' teenage sensation, found himself in the limelight of the internet, though it is not his bat this time. The 15-year-old had been captured by the TV cameras in the RR dugout, tongue sticking out mischievously during the high-voltage IPL 2026 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The comic scene happened when an assistant coach of the Rajasthan Royals, Trevor Penney, was giving a live interview. Sooryavanshi peeped at the back and gave an expression of playfulness, tongue out, and transformed a serious thing into a whimsical one. The video soon became viral on social media.
The fans rejoiced in division, with some writing, "Definitely 15 years old and no need to cross-check his age now." Some referred to it as just 15-year-old things, with the harmless innocence in the midst of such pressure from the IPL.
Sooryavanshi had a rare bad day at the bat, having played poorly in his earlier matches in the season by striking out on a golden duck. But his antics in the dugout captured hearts and served to remind all that beneath the record-breaking talent is still a fun-loving teenager. The video keeps accumulating viewpoints and laughs all around the platforms.
