The most recent online storm started once Kohli supposedly liked a post of a German vlogger, LizLaz, where social media users started sharing screenshots and forming overall speculation and jokes. 

With the buzz, a fan page posted a collage of Kohli, his wife Anushka Sharma, ex-girlfriend Izabelle Leite, Liz Laz, and actress Avneet Kaur, with a caption indicating that Virat has elite taste in women. 

Izabelle was surely not impressed. In response to the comments section, she said, "It has been 12 years and counting. "Why can we not get over it? Her reaction was fast becoming viral and had several users on her side. 

Virat was in a relationship with Izabelle starting in 2012 and lasting till 2014, when he met Anushka Sharma. The two got married in 2017 and have gone on to have a family unit. 

Izabelle has well grown out of it—now she is married and lives in Doha with her husband and two kids. 

At this point, neither Virat nor Anushka has responded to the viral post or the LizLaz scandal.
