Viral rumors and trolling have been addressed by Bollywood actor Rahul Roy, best known as the star of Aashiqui. Rahul Roy has explained that viral rumors and trolling are a reason why he has not been abandoned and is not struggling with finances. In an elaborate statement on Instagram, Rahul indicated that he has all the essential requirements in terms of clothes, food, a car, and ample shelter.

He attributed his perpetual support to his sister Hari Maa and brother-in-law Romeer Sen, and he urged the fans not to disturb their peace or suggest false videos in his name to get money. Rahul also clarified that his new plain clothes were indications of honest labor and personal decision, not indications of distress.

The actor admitted that in the past he had faced financial difficulties because of health problems (including a brain stroke) and court cases in the past but insisted that he was safe, at ease, and living comfortably with his family in Madh. This explanation is in the backdrop of extensive worry and ridicule that took place on social media.
