After an online blast last week, Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is under harsh criticism after her Bharatanatyam performance went viral in the recently released song ‘Chand Mera Dil' on Twitter for all the wrong reasons. She has received comments from people who watch her dance that her dance is “robotic” and “stiff” with a lack of grace, expression, and classical form.

This song, which apparently was recorded for an upcoming project has Ananya dabbling in the traditional South Indian classical form of dance. But her mechanical movements and limited facial expressions had garnered plenty of criticism from dancers along with many digital natives. Instagram and X have been teeming with memes and troll videos that compare her appearance to that of a robot.

Some of the fans defended Ananya for her attempt to do something new, but most of them trolled her effort. This isn't the first time that the actress has come under fire for her acting, but the clip of the one has definitely gotten on her nerves.

Ananya has yet to respond to the criticism mounting.
