Marvel Studios' first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has ignited a firestorm online, with fans slamming the CGI as "unfinished," "terrible," and "unpolished." Directed by the Russo Brothers and starring Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, the teaser features returning Avengers like Chris Evans' Captain America and Chris Hemsworth's Thor, but many viewers feel the visual effects fall short of expectations.
The backlash intensified as Indian audiences drew comparisons to the upcoming Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Leaked clips and promotional material from the epic, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Yash as Ravana, have been praised for their rich, cinematic VFX. Social media erupted with comments like "Ramayana trailer in 144p looks better than Doomsday in 4K."
While some defend the trailer as early footage that will improve, others worry about Marvel's recent VFX struggles. The debate highlights growing competition between Hollywood blockbusters and high-quality Indian epics in visual storytelling. The full Doomsday trailer and Ramayana's official release are highly anticipated.
