The makers of Bigg Boss 14 have brought in a very interesting bunch of contestants this year. And each one of them stands out from the other, not just because of the way they are playing the game, but also because of the life they have led outside the house. One such person who has undergone this major transformation in life has been TV actor Eijaz Khan. 

While in a recent episode we saw a teary-eyed Eijaz talking to the camera, it was all after a co-contestant Pavitra Punia revisited a part of Eijaz’s life where he was known for some not so good reasons. Yes, the Eijaz that we see now is a very different man, probably even a much better version of what he was known to be earlier. For those who don’t know, in his early days, Eijaz was known to be one of the most arrogant actors in the television industry. From his rude behavior to his  Casanova stance, and lots of other not so good reasons gave him the image of not being the ideal man in the public eye.

A rough childhood

Unlike most of us, Eijaz’s childhood was never a happy time, in fact, he went through a lot at a very young age. His parents separated when he was 4 and Eijaz and his brother were brought up by their father. But Eijaz did not share a very good equation with his dad. However, things sorted out later in life. As for his mother, after she left them, she was diagnosed with Parkinsons syndrome at a very late stage. When Eijaz was 7 years old his mother’s condition deteriorated and they went to meet her, but due to differences between his mother’s family and his father, they could never unite. A year later Eijaz was told that his sister was born, but she wasn’t accepted by the family. And it was in 1991, that Eijaz’s mom passed away and the actor was never even informed about her demise. 

His family relations

While the actor had strained relations with his father, all is well between them now. And not just this, Eijaz has even been a doting brother, when he was in his 20’s doing engineering, he went to Hyderabad to meet his sister and it took many years for their bond to get better. The best thing he did in his life according to Eijaz was to get his sister married and sign at her father’s place. 

His love life

The actor who was said to be madly in love with actress Anita Hassanandani wrecked his happy love life when he cheated on her. Yes, Eijaz did some irreparable damage after which Anita not only walked out of his home but also out of his life. Later, Eijaz met another girl and had an affair, but things were not right between them so after a month he decided to call it off, however, that girl framed him in a false rape case, which stained Eijaz’s life and his career. In fact, due to that case, Eijaz couldn’t promote his film Tanu Weds Manu and had to leave Mumbai for 2 months. While that girl took everything from his house, she also caused some serious damage to the actor. 

His battle with Anxiety and Depression

With so much happened in his life, Eijaz became an easy target for anxiety and depression. Yes, all the strained relations with his father and the abandonment issues left Eijaz broken. And while the actor would get severe anxiety attacks, his depression state would leave him crying for hours. In order to get out of it, Eijaz had been going through therapy until last year. 

While Eijaz’s life situations made him a bitter person, the man still has a heart of gold. He loves kids, works with orphanages, and even rescues and keeps stray or abandoned dogs. With dealing all the turmoil in his life all alone, Eijaz has learned to live all by himself which is why he has a problem with too many people around, but now in the Bigg Boss house, he is being a true sweetheart. And while Eijaz is winning hearts with his rugged gentleman avatar, he surely has a long way to go.
