Hansal Mehta has given this information expressing grief by sharing the post on social media. Many film stars are condoling the death of Yusuf Hussain on Hansal's post.

Son-in-law wrote an emotional post

Hansal wrote in his post, 'I had completed 2 schedules of Shahid and we were stuck. I was in trouble. My career as a filmmaker was about to end when he came and said that I have a fixed deposit and it is of no use to me if you are in trouble. He signed a check and it was Shahid. Such was Yusuf Hussain. You were like my father. If life was alive, it would probably be in its form.
