D-Company Rattled by 'Dhurandhar'! Desperate Bid to Prove Dawood Ibrahim is Alive Sparks Terror Scare

In what has come as an upsetting shock to D-Company, the series 'Dhurandhar,' which featured Dawood Ibrahim like a frail man on his deathbed, has caught them unawares, and they have had to work overtime, so to speak, to come up with its next program in Mumbai. The gang members reportedly want to prove that the don is alive and kicking.

After the massive success of Dhurandhar, the aptly titled sequel to the same, the Dawood Ibrahim-led D-Company has reportedly grumbled at the success of the film. A character in the film, known as ‘Bade Saheb,' who was clearly based on the fugitive, is shown as a frail and sick old man, lying bedridden on his deathbed, thus making people wonder about Dawood's health condition.

Now D-Company has launched its ground team in the metropolis of Mumbai to rebut the narrative, say intelligence sources. In a desperate attempt, including perhaps a high-profile move, the syndicate is trying to establish that India's "most wanted don" is alive, well, and in charge.

This development has led to a concern for security, as there has been the possibility of using MUMBAI as a backdrop for a terror scheme by the Pakistan Army or ISI handlers. It is believed that the films have badly affected D-company and Dawood's image and aura of power, as there are concerns that such films have been banned in Pakistan and parts of the Gulf. Police and military authorities have increased their surveillance in the area in the wake of the escalating tensions.
