Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, of Bollywood, are a popular couple and are expected to have the second child. The joyful news was announced on April 19, 2026, by the actors in a joint Instagram post, which included their 19-month-old daughter Dua Padukone Singh in a positive pregnancy test kit.

The adorable image, with a pair of evil eye emojis (🧿🧿) in the caption, met instant virality. In 2018 Deepika and Ranveer were married, and on September 8, 2024, they had a child, Dua.

It has overwhelmed social media with congratulatory messages, posted by numerous celebrities such as Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and more. Fans are excited that the family is expanding, and most of them refer to Dua as the best big sister.

Deepika, a 40-year-old (at the time of delivery) woman, has already discussed her pregnancy. The couple is yet to reveal the expected due date.
