As Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is expected to arrive in theaters in March 2026, there has been a report of stars cast in the film being paid enormous amounts of money due to the blockbuster success of the first film. The most expensive, reportedly, between 30 and 50 crore, is Ranveer Singh, who plays the same ferocious part of Hamza Ali Mazari and is a star in his own right as well as because the sequel meets such high expectations.

Sanjay Dutt, who comes back in one of the major antagonistic roles, is reported to have earned about ₹10 crore. R. Madhavan is right behind him with an approximation of 9 crores on his character of an intelligence officer. Arjun Rampal (as Major Iqbal) and Sara Arjun (female lead) are also supporting actors who are said to be earning 1 crore each, which highlights the point that Ranveer is the lead draw in this movie.
