The advance booking scene for the much-anticipated films 'Gadar 2' and 'OMG 2' reveals a striking contrast, with the commercial potboiler 'Gadar 2' taking the lead over the satirical comedy drama 'OMG 2'. On the first day of advance bookings, the Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel-starrer 'Gadar 2' managed to secure around 45,000 tickets across national multiplex chains PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis. In contrast, 'OMG 2' could only secure 7,700 tickets across the same chains.

Strong Opening Anticipated for 'Gadar 2'

The momentum continues to favor 'Gadar 2', as it inches closer to selling 50,000 tickets across the mentioned multiplex chains. The film's advance booking is projected to close with more than 2 lakh ticket sales by Thursday. This promising response in advance bookings positions 'Gadar 2' for a robust opening, with expectations of an approximately Rs 20 crore debut at the box office.

'OMG 2' and 'Gadar 2': Storylines and Cast

'OMG 2' centers around Kanti Sharan Mudgal, a devout follower of Lord Shiva, seeking justice for his son's mistreatment. The film features Akshay Kumar, Arun Govil, Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, and Pavan Malhotra. In contrast, 'Gadar 2' delves into the tale of Tara Singh's journey to Pakistan to retrieve his son against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. The movie boasts a cast including Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, and Simrat Kaur.
