The internet has buzzed with an endearing clip of a newborn baby trying not to release a doctor's glove, which has exceeded 28 million views on Instagram.
The video posted by Dr. Islam Eldeh shows the newborn instinctively clutching the doctor's surgical glove as soon as it is born, with a frangy grip. As the doctor struggles to dislodge the grip by tickling the infant's hand, the little one begins to cry but still holds on.
This sweet clip displays the normal grasp reflex—babies are born with a reflex to cling onto objects, which vanishes between 3-6 months. It usually disappears after 3-6 months.
People love it, saying, "That's a stronger grip than some married couples" and "This baby has not yet downloaded the laughing function." The clip showcases the innocence of new beginnings and has made the world go warm.
