Heidi Klum made the Met Gala 2026 a true living, breathing spectacle and an instant publicity-maker of the evening. Adopting the theme of costume art, the 52-year-old supermodel wore a custom-made sculpted pewter-colored gown that covered her all the way to her face; hands and body were covered and printed to look like carved stones and plaster.
Her avant-garde look brought many references to the Statue of Liberty, and it was dubbed a flawless representation of living art. Although some actually admired how well she adhered to the theme, others were left in a state of shock, with social media awash with expressions such as that she looks like a plaster cast of the Statue of Liberty.
Designed in collaboration with Mike Marino, the intricate look highlighted Klum’s love for bold, theatrical fashion. As per her Halloween-queen status, once again she proved why she is one of the most fearless celebrities on the red carpet. Transforming her statue is now taken over by the discussions all around the world.
