Nick Pasqual, the ‘How I Met Your Mother’ actor, was convicted of multiple charges, including attempted murder and several others, on May 8, 2026, for brutally stabbing his estranged girlfriend, high-profile Hollywood woman Allie Shehorn, over 20 times.
This violent incident happened after Shehorn filed a restraining order against him in May of 2024 and occurred in Shehorn's Sunland home. Pasqual broke into the house and attacked her, inflicting seriously debilitating injuries that took more than 14 hours of surgery to treat. Later, she was arrested at the U.S.-Mexico border.
He was convicted on all six counts: first-degree residential burglary, attempted murder with a deadly weapon, injuring a spouse/partner, and others for sexual assault during an earlier incident. The ever-popular sitcom actor, who made a cameo on one episode of the show, will now be given a life sentence at his upcoming sentencing. The entertainment industry is in an uproar over the case.
