Kangana Ranaut is going through a difficult patch in her film career, the Queen of Bollywood. The National Award-winning actress is said to have suffered eight consecutive box-office failures, with her last big commercial success being the blockbuster Tanu Weds Manu Returns in 2015 that grossed more than ₹250 crore worldwide.

Her films such as Emergency (Indira Gandhi), Tejas, Dhaakad, Thalaivii, and the recent Bharat Bhagya Vidhata have not done the trick and didn't return on investment to the producers, leading to heavy losses. Even with all these efforts and plans, Kangana has not had many releases outside of the single/low double digits in her recent movies, despite her being a good performer and having ambitious plans in her head like directing her own films.

Some industry analysts suggest that it may be due to changes in audience taste, content selection, and market dynamics. Kangana is still a part of the political scene as a BJP MP and is still respected for her acting skills. She is expected to make a comeback with a strong performance that can resonate with the masses and break her box office drought. The next few months will prove to be a very important period for the talented star's comeback.
