The eagerly awaited devotional movie "Krishnavataram Part 1 The Heart (Hridayam)" will release on May 7, 2026, and has been garnering positive reviews for its spiritual themes and sweeping the big screens with showstopping cinematography. The movie is helmed by Hardik Gajjar and will be the first of a trilogy planned by the duo and is based on a novel written by Raam Mori called Satyabhama.
Siddharth Gupta has brought out the divine character of Lord Krishna to life in an appropriate and captivating manner. Sushmitha Bhat takes up the role of Radha, Sanskruti Jayana plays Satyabhama, and Nivaashiyni Krishnan plays Rukmini. It delves into the lives of Krishna and his consorts, Krishna's ascendancy to Dwarka and the world out of Radha's presence, and his deep bond with them as he traverses toward the events of Kurukshetra.
The film Krishnavataram, with a devotional setting as the intent, is to be a devotional experience for the contemporary audience with the beautiful cinematography done by Ayananka Bose, the soul-stirring music of Prasad S., and the emotional narration. The film has been highly acclaimed for its mannerisms, incredible VFX, and amazing cast. It has been labeled “a visual and emotional treat for the believers” by many viewers.
