Imtiaz Ali has taken another sweet spot in his next flick, ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga,' which so far seems to have been touching the hearts of all. Umar Nasir Ali (also known as Umair Nasir Ali), the Pakistani director, is aptly joining the list of appreciators of the film. The director had an emotional post on Instagram about the film, which he described as a “beautiful and deeply emotional film, one that stays with you long after it ends."

Special mention has gone to veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, whom Ali dubbed "extraordinary," and editor Aarti Bajaj, who worked on it and termed it a “masterclass in cinematic storytelling.” He added that the thoughts of memory, belonging, and return in the film were very touching, as one of his own upcoming movies is about the same sentiments related to Partition.

The period-themed movie, featuring Naseeruddin Shah, Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari, and Vedang Raina, delves into love, longing, and the Partition of 1947.
