Actor Aamir Khan has remembered his late co-star Pradeep Rawat with warm words following the veteran’s death at 74 after a battle with blood cancer. Speaking about their collaboration, Aamir described Rawat as “extremely dedicated and fearless as an actor.”
He specifically highlighted Rawat’s performance in Ghajini, saying, “Pradeepji played the title role in Ghajini. I think this was one of the most striking screen villains in our cinema. The film wouldn’t have worked without him.” The two had also worked together in Lagaan and Sarfarosh.
Aamir attended Rawat’s last rites in Mumbai along with other industry colleagues. Pradeep Rawat was widely recognised for his powerful antagonistic roles, including portraying the villain in both the Tamil and Hindi versions of Ghajini. Aamir’s tribute underlines the lasting impact of Rawat’s intense and memorable performances on Indian cinema.
