Bollywood seems to get a boost with Ranveer Singh reportedly being paid ₹325 crore for the Dhurandhar series. That actor took a lower grip of a fixed pay rate in exchange for some hefty profit-sharing paybacks with Jio Studios and is now getting a lot of rewards.
The spy thriller action-packed franchise helmed by actor Ranveer Singh has now broken records with the two releases, putting it at a Rs 3,000 crore global grosser. Both the movie and its sequel, 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge,' made it to one of the top-grossing movies in Indian cinema.
Producer Jyoti Deshpande also confirmed that the duo decided on risk sharing due to the increasing budgets, which proved to be fruitful. This was a good move, as it not only revived Ranveer's stardom but also made the actor a top earner in Bollywood.
The actor's shrewd ploy is making fans and industry professionals shout their approval, with the franchise meticulously setting standards in the Hindi film industry.
