Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda grew man and husband in an intimate, tradition-filled event in the same posh lakeside location where many high-end Ambani celebrations had been held: ITC Mementos (Ekaaya Udaipur), on February 26, 2026, the day they had been waiting years to get married.
Rashmika was faultlessly gorgeous as a bride, with a gorgeous handwoven red silk sari of golden zari and elaborate motive designs representing prosperity and love. In combination with magnificent temple jewelry—a heavy gold necklace in Lord Venkateswara motifs, matching jhumkas, maang tikka, bangles, and an oriental oddiyanam (waist belt)—all this made her look like a South Indian royal bride. Her hair was swept back in an exquisite low bun with fresh jasmine and golden pins, and the finishing touches were slightly lined eyes and a red bindi.
Vijay had just the perfect soldier to her classic off-white silk sherwani with gold all over, a similar safed pagdi, and a typical set of mojaris. The couple was exchanging garlands and vows in a sacred mandap in front of Lake Pichola, and the number of guests who were present was very limited, with approximately 150–200 people. There were rituals of mangalsutra tying, sindoor to be applied, and saat pheras, with a hybrid of Telugu and Kannada culture.
The social media was flooded with love over the bridal character of Rashmika, and the fans referred to her as the most beautiful bride of the year 2026. Their relationship/wedding was a secret affair that the couple maintained for a few years before kindly confirming their plans as The Wedding of Virosh, which made their wedding ceremony a down-low but very traditional one, avoiding media publicity.
These first wedding photos in Hyderabad and Mumbai have already become the cult pictures, and they reflected the magic of two stars beginning their life together in true dreamy fashion.
