The Bollywood camera wonder Aneet Padda, who became a popular name with her first film Saiyaara beside Ahaan Panday, debuted at Lakmal Fashion Week x FDCI 2026 on the ramp. The 22-year-old actress also strolled the grand finale of designer Tarun Tahiliani and then closed Pero out of office designer Anethe Arora with a splendid blue and white outfit.

Nonetheless, her walk did not merit applause but received strong criticism on the internet. The netizens termed it as robotic, stiff, soulless, and uncomfortable, and statements such as "Modelling must become the work of the models" and "That walk was terrible" had to fill the social media. There were a lot of opinions; she was not as confident and beautiful as professional models.

Her supporters, on the other hand, cited the fact that it was her first runway and she appeared quite nervous backstage. Her innocent designer, Tarun Tahillani, himself said that she (Aneet) was very nervous and required some deep breathing before going out, and her natural beauty was admirable.

It has also sparked again the controversy over Bollywood actors and actresses participating in modeling assignments at different fashion shows. In the face of the trolling, Aneet radiated through her radiant looks and stature and had a group of fans who encouraged the netizens to treat debutantes in a kinder way.
