Legendary Bollywood star Salman Khan has lit a hostile firestorm after standing down with the paparazzi outside of Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. As the superstar left the hospital premises, the photographers were all milling around and calling out his name, and loud shouts could be heard.

On Instagram around 2 AM on May 20, Salman posted a bunch of messages that were both poignant and powerful. He said, "Keep your eyes shut; do not enjoy. "If I happen to see any press enjoying my pain at a hospital… Keep your eyes shut. The actor chided reporters about the support he has been giving for a while to the media but emphasized that he wouldn't have it at the expense of the difficult moments becoming content.

In a fiery bow he added that "Nadal hoota nahi, bohla saal ka dalo ge haaa haaa.” Salman also asked if someone's picture is better than life, referring to his forthcoming movie Matrubhumi.

The viral video and posts have garnered opinions on both sides, with many fans raising Bhaijan's right to be protected from the world at such crucial moments and others talking about ethical issues pertaining to Bollywood's film occupation.
