Nandini Reddy's action drama Maa Inti Bangaaram is the film in which the versatile Samantha Ruth Prabhu gets her much-deserved Baashha or Vikram moment, as per Hindustan Times. As Swarna, a delicate homemaker, the actress makes a stunning presence and proves herself to be a fierce protector when her family is in danger due to her sinister past.

The stunts, emotional performances, and acting abilities of Samantha are well-received, but the review notes that the plot is rushed at times, especially the backstory and villain track. The film, with the input of Raj Nidimoru, is a mix of family emotions and high-octane action but has some pacing issues in the second half.
