Veteran actor Govind Namdev has raised anew the controversy related to the film 'Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy' by distancing himself from the project. Namdev, in a candid interview, admitted, "I was 'shaken to the core' after watching the trailer," and said that they had deceived him to the hilt about the film's content.
The project in its initial form was about court activity in the blackbuck case alone, but the final version looked like Salman Khan, and he says it looked how he would never have envisioned, "like Salman Khan." Namdev has made it clear that he wouldn't do a movie against Salman Khan, as he is very close to the superstar.
The move further strengthens Salman Khan's argument to ban the movie. Namdev's declaration has sparked discussions in Bollywood regarding the ethics of making films and the issue of consent. As the makers stand up for their creative liberty, the actor's response underscores the rising conflicts, which now makes it uncertain if the film will be released or not, and the fans are gathering around Salman Khan.
