In an incident that sparked emotions and many feelings, influencer and actress Jannat Zubair Rahmani, star of shows such as Laughter Chefs and social media with thousands of subscribers, as well as her younger brother Ayaan Zubair, were supposedly assaulted and fleeing on the highway in Panvel, Maharashtra, on March 15, 2026.

One of the Instagram posts on the Jannat account made by her team stated the following: It is to inform you that Jannat and Ayaan had an intolerable experience with a physical attack and brazen chase case on the highway during broad daylight yesterday (March 15). Both survive now, and we really doubt the care and never-ending followership of fans. The police officials are investigating the case actively.

The brothers were reported to have fled with respective minor injuries, but it is not clear who assaulted them, their motive, or what specifically happened. It happened during broad daylight, thus calling into question the security of celebrities in voyages in the Mumbai locality.

Social media was full of prayers, and fans trended hashtags such as #GetWellSoonJannat. It has been investigated by the Panvel police, and no arrests have been made.
