Actress and singer Shruti Haasan has candidly revealed that she is “petrified” of the idea of marriage. In a heartfelt conversation, she explained that she has worked extremely hard throughout her life to build her own identity, and the thought of tying it to a legal document feels scary.
However, Shruti made it clear that her fear of marriage does not mean she rejects love or commitment. She strongly believes in loyalty, emotional connection and the values that marriage is traditionally meant to represent — and feels she can uphold them without a piece of paper.
On the topic of motherhood, Shruti was far more certain. She shared that she has always dreamed of becoming a mother and finds children fascinating. While she is open to the possibility of adoption, she prefers the idea of two parents raising a child together and has never wanted to be a single mother.
