Spider-Man: Brand New Day has scripted history at the Indian box office by becoming the first Hollywood film to cross the ₹300 crore mark in its opening weekend.
The Tom Holland-starrer, released on July 30, 2026, collected approximately ₹256 crore net (over ₹300 crore gross) in its first four days. It opened with around ₹60-61 crore on Day 1, surpassing the previous Hollywood opening day record held by Avengers: Endgame. Collections grew strongly over the weekend, with Sunday alone contributing around ₹76-77 crore.
The film was released across a historic 5,000 screens in multiple languages, including Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu. Trade analysts have hailed it as the biggest Hollywood opener ever in India, underlining Spider-Man’s massive popularity among Indian audiences. The milestone further strengthens Marvel and Sony’s stronghold in the country’s theatrical market.
