Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming action thriller King, directed by Siddharth Anand, is firmly locked for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026. The film will face stiff competition from major Hollywood releases, as Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part Three are scheduled to hit screens around December 18.
Trade reports confirm there has been no change in King’s Christmas date despite earlier speculation of a possible delay. The festive window is expected to become one of the most competitive of the year, with additional Hollywood titles like Jumanji: Open World also in the mix.
Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, King marks SRK’s return to the big screen after a three-year gap and features Suhana Khan in her theatrical debut, along with Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and others. Industry experts believe the superstar’s massive fan following in India could help the film hold its own against the Hollywood heavyweights.
