Almost 110 days after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, there has been a huge development. The forensic team panel who were deployed on the case have announced in their report that the late actor indeed committed suicide, they have even ruled out all murder theories around the actor’s death. Even though an official confirmation or announcement from CBI has to be made, the forensic head from AIIMS, Dr. Sudhir Gupta told a news channel in his statement that, “It’s a clear-cut case of suicide, Sushant was not murdered.”

Under Dr. Sudhir Gupta’s leadership, a panel of 5 doctors from AIIMS was set up to investigate the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s autopsy report. This team submitted its report to the CBI on 28th September and as per some media reports, they did not find any kind of poison in the late actor’s viscera.

However, Cooper hospital has not been given a clean chit

In the AIIMS report all the doctors who did Sushant’s postmortem at Cooper hospital in Mumbai, have not been given a clean chit. In fact, a lot of questions have been raised on the way the Cooper hospital doctors conducted an autopsy on Sushant since their report did not mention about any marks on late Sushant’s neck, even the time of death was not written in the report. It was due to these loopholes that CBI handed over the investigation to this panel at AIIMS.

Mumbai Police had also reported no foul play with the actor’s death

After the postmortem, Sushant’s viscera was sent to the Kalina forensic lab, where the team had confirmed that no suspicious chemical or poison was found in the deceased actor’s body. Which is why the Mumbai police have said in its report that there was no foul play with the actor’s death, almost three months ago.

Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer welcomed this decision saying, “Satyamev Jayate”

Actress Rhea Chakroborty who is said to be a prime accused behind Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘murder’ has been in judicial custody for some time now.  But now with this report, looks like Rhea’s jail term will also end soon. Commenting on the AIIMS report, Rhea’s lawyer Satish Manshinde, issued a statement that read, “We are waiting for an official statement from the CBI. We, on Rhea’s behalf, have been continuously saying that the truth cannot be changed under any circumstances, and we shall stand by the truth. Satymev Jayate!”

For those who don’t know, actress Rhea Chakraborty was accused of what not in the Sushant Rajput Death case, from drugging the actor constantly, to keeping him away from his family to siphoning money from his accounts to murdering him, Rhea’s media trials had accused of so many wrongdoings. Another big angle that the late actor’s death investigation brought to the forefront was Bollywood’s drug nexus.

In fact, the drug angle had so many big names from the industry under the scanner, some of them were Karan Johar, Sara Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, etc. Now that Sushant’s death case has been almost solved, we will have to wait and see what happens with the NCBs investigation on all the drug connections and who else from the film industry lands in trouble for the same. Stay tuned!
