The official trailer of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups dropped and instantly set social media on fire. Starring Yash in a dual role as father and son, the nearly five-minute promo showcases intense action, dark romance and high production values.
Fans flooded X and other platforms with praise. Many called Yash “unhinged,” “badass” and “next-level lethal,” with comparisons to “KGF on steroids.” Dialogues like “Do I look civilised to you?” went viral. Kiara Advani’s performance also drew strong appreciation, with some predicting a National Award-worthy turn.
However, reactions remain mixed. A section of viewers found the trailer confusing, overly violent or derivative of films like Animal and Kabir Singh. Questions were also raised about bold sequences and editing.
Despite the divide, the trailer has generated massive hype for the Geetu Mohandas directorial, set for worldwide release on August 26.
