The official trailer of Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, has generated massive buzz, and one unexpected highlight is Vivek Oberoi’s appearance as Vidyutjihva.
Oberoi plays the lesser-known character of Vidyutjihva, the husband of Shurpanakha. In the trailer, he is seen in elaborate armour and headgear, looking almost unrecognisable. His intense face-off with Yash’s powerful Ravana has quickly emerged as one of the most discussed sequences. Fans have praised the high-energy fight choreography and the raw intensity both actors bring to the screen.
The scene hints that the film will explore deeper layers of Ravana’s personal story beyond the familiar narrative. While Ranbir Kapoor as Ram and Yash as Ravana continue to dominate conversations, Oberoi’s brief but impactful cameo has added another layer of excitement. Social media is flooded with reactions calling the confrontation one of the trailer’s standout moments.
