Sadhvi Satish Sail of Goa was the first person in history to win the Femina Miss India World 2026 one-day pageant in the 61st edition of the renowned pageant on April 18, 2026, at KIIT University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Sadhvi won the pageant with stiff competition to be crowned by her predecessor, Nikita Porwal, and will now represent India in the Miss World 2027 pageant.

Sadhvi is a model, aspiring entrepreneur, and social activist who studied economics and international relations at the University of British Columbia in Canada. Learning from deeply the inspiration of economist Gita Gopinath, she is dedicated to female financial literacy and funding children with malnutrition and hearing/speech issues. She has also contributed funds towards healthcare charities and hopes to someday open a college that combines academics with practical life learning skills, spirituality, and creativity.

Known to be poised, speak more than one language, and have special skills such as pottery, photography, and beekeeping, Sadhvi has her humble origins in Goa. Emotional in her victory speech, she said the victory was dreamy and highlighted the idea of celebrating other women in the face of the world as the embodiment of Indian strength. This is the first Miss India in the history of the pageant, awarded to Goa.
