Actress Shilpa Shinde, who had the popular role of Angoori Bhabhi, has made an explosive revelation in one of the biggest confessions in Indian television history in her exit from the popular show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. However, she has now confessed that the sexual harassment allegations she had made against the show's producer are false, stating "woh jhoot tha" on Bharti Singh and Harssh Limbachiyaa's podcast. 

Getting emotional during the conversation, Shilpa said that she knew then she had no other recourse, so she chose to file the complaint. She disclosed how she was proposed to sign an extremely restrictive exclusive contract that would not allow her to work outside and would give the makers a lot of control over her career choices.

She also said that the police had already told her the format in which she should draft an FIR, and as she had a law background, she knew how to go about it. 

Though the fallout was severe, Shilpa said that her relationship with the makers is now very good, and she has even met them again for a second season of the show.
