On Friday, India has reported 1,109 fresh Covid-19 cases along with 43 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. The country's active caseload stands at 11,492 and the recovery rate has reached 98.76 percent, said the ministry. In the last 24 hours, a total of 1,213 people have recovered from the deadly infection, pushing the caseload of total recoveries to 4,25,00,002, said the data.

India's daily positivity rate stands at 0.24 percent and its weekly positivity rate stands at 0.23 percent, said the ministry. The active cases comprise 0.03 percent of the total tally of Covid-19. With 43 fresh fatalities due to the viral infection, the death toll has reached 5,21,573, the data showed.
Tamil Nadu
On Thursday, Tamil Nadu has recorded 26 fresh cases of Covid-19 along with 37 recoveries, as per the state health bulletin.
Delhi
On Thursday, the national capital has recorded 176 fresh cases of Covid-19, as per the state health bulletin.
Mizoram
In the last 24 hours, Mizoram has reported 123 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of Covid-19 in the state to 2,25,336, as per the state's health department. The caseload of total recoveries reached 2,23,813 recoveries, as reported by the news agency ANI. However, the active caseload in the state stands at 836 and the positivity rate has reached 17.06 percent.
