On Friday, India has reported 11,106 fresh cases along with 12,789 recoveries and 459 fatalities due to the infection in the last 24 hours, as per the data updated by the Union Health Ministry. Kerala has reported 6,111 fresh cases, 7,202 recoveries and 51 fresh fatalities, the health ministry added. Currently, the number of active cases in the country stands at 1,26,620, said the ministry in the recent update. 

On Thursday, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that India's Covid-19 vaccination coverage has crossed the 115 crore mark. The Health Minister also appreciated the "Har Ghar Dastak" campaign for strengthening the world's largest vaccination drive. "As India's vaccination coverage crosses 115 crore mark, PM Narendra Modi Ji's words ring true - once Indians decide to do something, nothing is impossible! #HarGharDastak strengthening world's largest vaccination drive!," Mr Mandaviya tweeted.
